Joining the Salinas Santa Lucia Rotary is a simple process, and we are here to guide you every step of the way. Here is what you need to know:
Be a person of good standing in the community: To be eligible for membership, you must have a good reputation in your community and be able to positively represent the values of Rotary.
Be able to manage your own time: As a Rotarian, you will be expected to actively participate in club meetings and events, so it is important that you have the time and availability to do so.
Find a sponsor: A prospective member must be sponsored by a Rotarian. If you do not already have a sponsor, the Salinas Santa Lucia Rotary will provide one for you. Your sponsor will help guide you through the application process and introduce you to the club.
Complete the application: Once you have found a sponsor, complete the membership application together and return it to the Salinas Santa Lucia Rotary membership committee.
Review and approval: The Membership Committee will review your application before the monthly board meeting. If approved, it will then be presented to the membership, and if there are no objections within seven days, you will be eligible for membership.
Membership orientation: After your application has been approved, a member of the membership committee will contact you to arrange a time and place for a membership orientation. You and your sponsor will attend this orientation together to learn more about the club and get started as a member.
